Shadows of Cal'duur

In short

Battle the demonic hordes of the Azurin. A new found threat sprouting from the walls of the mines in Cal'duur.  Gather precious minerals, weapons and magical artifacts to get stronger. Obtain all the loot you can find, stuff it deep in your pockets and escape, for there is no loot for the dead. Are you able to survive whatever the Azurin throws at you?

Jump into a highly interactive environment, defeat hordes of enemies leading up to engaging and complex boss fights. Gather minerals, craft weapons and earn new magical items to help you survive to the next wave. Surviving long enough or completing achievements unlocks new weapons to play with to change the way your favorite character plays and builds their items. Earn new skins and achievements to boast about to your friends and look like the hero you have become to this dwarven empire. All of that in a multiplayer setting where co-op is at the center of it all, aiming to encourage players to work towards a common goal, devise strategic plans and build off of each other's strengths and weaknesses. 

Characters

Choose from a selection of 3 characters at launch. each boasting different play styles that feed into each other's strengths and weaknesses to encourage synergies.

Control the battlefield with the bounty hunter, as a mercenary catching prey for a living, she is used to finding ways to make it hard on her opponents to take down larger or more numerous targets. Evening the odds is what she's all about cut by cut, trap by trap.

Clear rooms of enemies with the gem mage, a scientist dwarf sporting his latest invention tapping into the magic properties of the land to deal large amounts of electrifying  damage by powering up his weapons or environment. The gem mage brings a handy bag of metallic dust to cover his enemies with and increase the range of his electric attacks.

Support your friends by distracting your enemies and blocking damage to keep yourselves safe. The warrior dwarf comes from the front lines to the north, equipped with a shield sporting pistons to soften incoming blows. the discharge of the built up pressure of the pistons draws nearby enemies to you when blocking hits. Parrying enemies gives your teammates and yourself a chance for critical hits and gathering enemies sets up powerful combos with your allies.

Cal'duur

Explore the overrun city of Cal'duur, a once prosperous mining city built into a cliffside right next to a river it used to use to for import and export. Today this river is the only way we get into the city.  Once you're in, the only way you get out is by clearing the room first and temporarily blocking the mine entrance inside. The azurin, the demon spawn from the minerals of the earth, have come pouring out of the mines. It's your job to go in there and get all the valuables out, especially the new pearl minerals they recently discovered. The fortress is on your side though, there are traps out there for warfare, advantageous points etc. Don't forget to explore while you are in there. Lots of people will pay high prices for some of the hidden stuff you can find now that it's all for the grabbing, maybe you'll even find something you can use. If you're lucky you can make the smelters and forges operational again, figure out how it works and perhaps you can craft some of your weapons and gear at the once legendary forges of Cal'duur. It's all up to you how you decide to do the job, we just want our minerals.
